My mood today: Stefan’s weekend #LOVE must be Juhao Zeng @jhzane. A graduate from #Winchester School of Art @_MakeFuture, where I held a lecture past week. Juhao skills certainly derive from his experiences in @KatieEary’s and @GarethPugh’s studios, however his personal #aesthetic is very much defined by his great eye for directing the photo shoot for his AW 2013 #collection. #bestoftheday #photooftheday #lazy #weekends

Last week I travelled to #NYC to select this year’s @PrattInstitute graduates to be part of the school’s fashion show. In order to celebrate the occasion, NJAL will #exclusively be #live-streaming the #fashion #show from 6pm EST tonight. Honouring one of #America’s most prolific #designers, @VogueMagazine ‘s Hamish Bowles will present the #Pratt Fashion Visionary Award to @ThomBrowneNY at the start of the show. The 2013 Pratt Fashion Show will feature #innovative #designs by graduating seniors from the Department of Fashion that reflect and challenge the fashion system, popular #cultural values, and the needs of #contemporary culture. The annual event provides a platform for students to demonstrate #creative achievement by designing, producing, and presenting cohesive, progressive, and authentic #collections, which have been pre-selected by a panel of industry experts. One of the most #prestigious colleges for art, design, and architecture in the world, Pratt is home to the first fashion design program in the #United #States. My #LOVE of the day brings some #Friday androgyny to the evening: @SharaHayz is an East #London based fashion designer who recently graduated from an MA course in Digital Fashion at London College of #Fashion. Her initial concept, developed while studying for her MA, was to create fashion outfits for stage #performances, focusing on the idea of #illuminating the #performer, to create a #God-like status. #oh #yes #bestoftheday #tgif #androgyny #photooftheday
